Filippo Scrimizzi, MA (he/him/his)

Filippo Scrimizzi works in the Low Voltage Solutions division in STMicroelectronics in Catania, Italy where he develops SiP and smart GaN solutions and eFuse devices as Application Competence Center and Innovation system Solution Manager. He manage a complex team where a vertical integration of services are provided to LVIP and STi2GaN division, stating from PCB layout development, smd production line for small boards, CE marking of them, EMI and EMC susceptability and sensitivity measurement and finally thermal characterization, modelling development. He also magage the dynamic characterization of ViPower and LV MOSFETs products. Previously he worked in ST Catania as low Voltage and STi2GaN Solutions application manager. In this R&D & Innovation Senior Manager he also takes care of system development for all products belonging to his division in automotive market Prior to this, he served as an application manager for LV MOSFETs and as automotive application manager for all power transistors in ST, both high-voltage and low-voltage power switches. This followed Filippo‘s time as an application and marketing engineer in ST’s European Automotive Business Unit in Munich, Germany and his initial work with ST as a product engineer
for low-voltage MOSFETs in Catania. Filippo has been with ST since 2000. He holds a master’s degree in electronics engineering from the University of Messina.
