This presentation focuses on a high voltage to low voltage isolated flyback converter based on smart GaN IC, intended as Auxiliary Power Supply for EVs. The idea behind is to ensure the supply voltage (~15 - 18V) to the safety critical blocks of the car, mainly the traction inverter, when the main power supply fails.
