Samuel S. Queiroz (Student Member, IEEE) was born in Fortaleza, Brazil, in 1989. He received the B.Sc. degree from the Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil, in 2014, and the M.Sc. degree from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 2016, both in electrical engineering. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the Eindhoven University of Technology. His research interests include multilevel systems, solid-state transformers, and energy systems.
