Abdulaziz Alkhaldi (student member of IEEE and IET) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Jouf University, Sakaka, Aljouf, Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from University of Dayton, Dayton, OH, United States (USA) in 2011 and 2015, respectively. He worked for 5 years as a lecturer at Jouf University, KSA. Currently, he is working towards a Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering at Queen's University Belfast, United Kingdom (UK). His research focuses on DC/DC converters, DC grids and renewable energy systems.
