Gerry Moschopoulos received the B.Eng., M.A.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 1989, 1992, and 1997, respectively, all in electrical engineering.
From 1996 to 1998, he was a Design Engineer in the Advanced Power Systems Division, Nortel Networks, Lachine, QC, Canada. From 1998 to 2000, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Concordia University, where he was involved in research in the area of power electronics for telecommunications applications. Since 2000, has been a Professor at the Western University, London, ON, Canada. He has authored or coauthored more than 250 technical papers and the recently published book DC-DC Converter Topologies: Basic to Advanced with John Wiley & Sons.
He is currently an Associate Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS and the IEEE JOURNAL OF EMERGING AND SELECTED TOPICS IN POWER ELECTRONICS.
