Simanta Kumar Samal is currently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Electrical engineering, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. His research interests include soft-switching power converters, grid-tied inverters, PWM control techniques for hybrid converters, and implementation of power processors for solar PV application. Before joined the current Institution, he was working as a research associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India.
