Mohamed Y. Metwly (GS’21) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, in 2018, and the M.Sc. from the department of Electrical Engineering, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Alexandria, Egypt, in 2022. He is currently a Ph.D. student and research assistant in electrical engineering at the AMPERE Lab, University of Kentucky (UK), USA. His current research interests include machine design, battery chargers, electric vehicles, inverter fault diagnosis, and multi-objective optimization.
