He was born in Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia, in 1990. He received the B.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees in electronic engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia, in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Since 2020, he has been working towards a Ph.D. in engineering with Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Leuven, Belgium. His current research focuses on power static converters for more electric aircraft applications towards improving power density in the low-voltage dc–dc grids of commercial shuttles. His research interests include power converters, magnetic components, energy systems, and the environmental impact of transportation systems.
