Shivam Chaturvedi, Ph.D. is a full-time research fellow at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He is an expert in power electronics and control. He has
worked on the hardware design of different DC-DC, DC-AC, AC-DC converter topologies, and single-stage inverter topologies. His primary research interest consists of distributed control of microgrids. He has worked on different hardware in loop platforms like Opal–RT, dSPACE, 28335 TI DSP controllers, etc. He has worked on developing converters with a wide range of applications ranging from DC Microgrids, Photo-voltaic integration, and Electric Vehicles. His research contributions have been published in International Conferences such as the Industrial Application Society Conference (IEEE- IAS), International Future Energy Electronics Conference (IEEE-IFEEC), and in Transactions on Sustainable Energy, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Applications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and IEEE Journal of Emerging Topics in Power Electronics.
