Automotive Application Engineer
Nexperia
Christian Radici is an Application Engineer in the Automotive team at Nexperia, Manchester. Since joining the company in December 2019, he has been involved in a variety of topics, with a primary focus on aligning simulations and measurements of low voltage power MOSFETs - an integral part of providing Nexperia's customers with top-tier support tools.
Among others, his hands-on experience includes thermal simulation (3D CFD, electrothermal) and measurement, modelling of power MOSFETs thermal instability, study and extraction of package and PCB RLC parasitics, repetitive avalanche and double pulse testing - a common way of characterizing switching behaviour of power MOSFETs. He is author of a number of application notes, such as Paralleling power MOSFETs in high power applications (AN50005), power MOSFETs in linear mode (AN50006), Using power MOSFETs in DC motor control applications (AN50004) and Conducted battery line transients (AN50007). He actively engages with many Automotive customers and OEMs by providing technical support and hosting online webinars.
Christian earned a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering and a master's degree in analog and power electronics at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
