Maurice Roes received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands, in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Electromechanics and Power Electronics Group at the same university. After receiving the Ph.D. degree, he worked as a Researcher, and in 2016, he was appointed Assistant Professor at the Electromechanics and Power Electronics group in Eindhoven. His research interests include advanced (digital) control of power converters, multilevel converters, modern control theory and state estimation.
