José A. Cobos, PhD

José A. Cobos is a Full Professor with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain.
In 2019, he founded “Differential Power S.L.”, a startup from UPM, to develop IP that enables next-level supply of A.I. chips.

In 2006, he was the Founder Director of the Centro de Electrónica Industrial at UPM (CEI-UPM), a university research center leading a strong industrial program on power electronics and digital systems. In 2016, he was the Founder President of its Industrial Council.

He is a Steering Committee Member at APEC (General Chair (2020).
In 2016-17, he was an RCC Fellow at Harvard University and a Fulbrighter with the University of California at Berkeley, USA.
