Dr. Henry Chen is a Senior Field Application Engineer at Semikron Danfoss, responsible for its automotive power module businesses in North America. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES), Virginia Tech, in 2009 and 2013 respectively, and BS degree from Tsinghua University, China, in 2007. Prior to joining Semikron Danfoss, he worked as a Field Application Engineer at Wolfspeed, responsible for SiC power devices and modules. Prior to Wolfspeed, he was also with GE Global Research working as a Research Engineer focusing on SiC power module technologies.
