Karthik Debbadi (S'20) received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Power Engineering in 2016 from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. Afterwards, he worked as a Research Scientist at United Technologies Research Center, Ireland, in the field of power electronics. He is currently working as a scientific employee in the field of reliability at Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology, Germany and pursuing his Ph.D. with the chair of power electronics at Kiel University focusing on the reliability of Wide Band Gap devices in power electronic applications. His research interests include reliability of power electronics, active thermal control, thermal modelling, Wide Band Gap based device applications in electric drives.
