Duberney Murillo-Yarce, PhD

Duberney Murillo-Yarce received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira (UTP), Pereira, Colombia, in 2004 and 2010 respectively. From 2006 to 2018, he was a professor in the Faculty of Engineering at the UTP, in electrical and electronic engineering programs. He also received his PhD's degree in Engineering Systems at Universidad de Talca, Chile in 2023. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oviedo. His research interests include modeling and controlling power electronic converters, renewable energies, and model predictive control.
