Ehab Tarmoom is a senior technical staff applications engineer of Microchip’s silicon carbide business unit. As a subject matter expert on silicon carbide (SiC) technology, he designs and develops innovative SiC solutions across the company’s power portfolio.
He has over 20 years of experience in automotive electronics, with a focus on the electrification of products such as onboard chargers, inverters, electric vehicle supply equipment and battery disconnect units.
Ehab received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering, as well as a second master’s degree in applied and computational mathematics from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Ehab is also an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit Mercy.
