Kilby Labs for Texas Instruments
Jeffrey Morroni serves as the CTO of power management at TI leading all power management R&D activities reporting into TI’s corporate R&D organization, Kilby Labs. Jeff received his PhD degree in power electronics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009. From 2009, Jeff joined National Semiconductor focusing on LED power R&D activities. In 2011, Jeff joined Texas instruments and has since focused on power management R&D in areas including GaN, server power, EV/HEV power management, modules and passive integration, high power density topologies and EMI mitigation techniques. Within TI, Jeff is also responsible for the power management related University research strategy and associated projects. Jeff was elected to TI Fellow in 2022 for his contributions to the power management field. Jeff has >35 patents and >20 IEEE papers.
