Yuliang Cao received B.S. degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, in 2017; M.S. degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, in 2019; Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, in 2023, all in Electrical Engineering. He is currently working as a research scientist with the CPES, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg. He was the recipient of one Prize Paper Award of IEEE JESTPE in 2022, two Best Presentation Awards at IEEE APEC in 2021 and 2022, respectively, and First Place Awards of the IEEE ECCE Best Student Project Demonstration Competition in 2022, and the Best Technical Presentation Award at CPES Annual Conference in 2022. He currently holds 2 granted US patents and 5 US patent applications. His research interests include bidirectional resonant dc-dc converter, and magnetics design.
