Jeet Panchal is pursuing his Doctorate in Philosophy degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). With a background in Electrical Engineering, he specializes in Power Electronics, focusing on system-level analysis, control systems, EMI/EMC, and transient studies for residential distribution grids.
Mr. Panchal has led numerous research projects related to photovoltaic (PV) panels, concentrating on developing control strategies for maximum power generation and diagnosing PV panel faults using AC impedance measurement techniques. His work has been published in leading power electronics and energy conversion conferences.
Currently, Mr. Panchal's research interests center on the assessment of power quality for residential distribution grids. He is actively involved in the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) community and serves as the Chair of the IEEE PELS Student Branch Chapter at Virginia Tech.
Mr. Panchal eagerly anticipates participating in the upcoming conference, where he looks forward to engaging with colleagues and sharing insights on pressing power quality challenges in household grids and modern vehicles.
