FRANCESCO PORPORA received the master’s degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in methods, models, and technologies for engineering in 2017 and 2021, respectively. He is currently a Research Associate with the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Italy. His research activities mainly focus on the development, prototyping, and control of battery management systems as well as passive and active equalization techniques for Li-ion packs. His research is also related to modeling, optimization, and control of electrochemical energy storage systems and the power converters needed for their integration in mobility and stationary applications.
