Cheng Xue received the B.Eng. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China, in 2015 and 2018, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in energy system from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2023.,He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta. His research interests include advanced control, optimization, and integration of power electronics converters for microgrid applications and high-performance ac electrical machine drives.
