Pratyush Pandey is a Ph.D. Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, with a background in the electrical automotive industry as a Research and Development Engineer. Born in Uttar Pradesh, India, he earned his B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur, in 2015, and subsequently achieved an M.Tech. degree with a specialization in Electrical Drive and Power Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, in 2019. Pratyush has held engineering roles with organizations such as Saint-Gobain India Pvt Ltd and Mahindra Electric Mobility Ltd during the periods of 2015-2016 and 2019-2020, respectively. His current research pursuits focus on the design of converter topologies for medium voltage drives, PWM algorithm development, and operation strategies and improving grid power quality through innovative techniques.
