This paper proposes a current type active common-mode noise canceller (ACC) using Rogowski coils for common-mode (CM) noise detection. The proposed method is expected to reduce the volume of a noise filter than conventional methods. The Rogowski coil is designed based on the ratio of the detected CM current to the output voltage and the value of the cut-off frequency at which the CM current is detected in the frequency band of the conducted noise measurement. The measurement results of the noise reduction effect of ACC when the Rogowski coil is applied to the detection section show the disturbance voltage is reduced by 39 dB.
