This digest presents a practical auxiliary circuit designed to improve voltage regulation in voltage regulator modules (VRMs) for CPU power supply. The proposed auxiliary circuit is compatible with most existing VRMs and effectively reduces voltage fluctuations in multi-core scenarios by dynamically adjusting its load connection, thereby minimizing the required output capacitance. Simulation and experimental results validate the circuit's effectiveness, achieving a remarkable reduction in undershoot and overshoot by approximately 25% and 51%, respectively.
