High-frequency resonant converters with PCB-based transformers are extensively used in data centers and automotive industries due to increasing demands for high power density and efficiency. This paper proposes a novel termination structure for LLC matrix transformer secondary sides, emphasizing the crucial role of symmetry in design. According to the experimental results from the 400V/48V, 1500W prototype, the full-load efficiency showed a 0.25% improvement after implementing symmetry optimization.
