This talk will start with an overview of the data center application and trends, thermal and cooling challenges, and how liquid cooling can provide a value proposition on a system level. Followed by the implementation of 2-phase liquid immersion cooling testing setup and its components. Finally, experimental comparison between fan cooled and liquid immersion cooled SMPS will be shown to validate the benefits of efficiency, density and reliability.
