This talk will be focused on the development of a novel constant airflow control algorithm for centrifugal fan applications realized on a 3-phase PMSM motor drive platform without the use of a flow sensor. The goal is to share with engineers some experience learned in the process of the algorithm development including plant modeling, control strategy design and verification.
